Planting & Care
1. Planting: Plant your Becky Shasta Daisy in an area of full sun (at least 6 hours per day). Itโs not overly picky about soil type as long as there is good drainage. Plant in a wildflower or cutting garden, along a garden wall or in a raised bed.
2. Watering: Water generously upon first planting with extra care during the first growing season. Thereafter, water only during extended hot spells. Fertilizing is not required; compost once in late spring as an option.
3. Pruning: Deadheadingย can help improve the growth and vitality of your Becky Shasta Daisies. Simply pick off shriveled, older blooms to allow new growth to form in its place. Every 2-3 years it is also encouraged to dig up a small section of your plants and replant elsewhere (or keep as cuttings) to allow better room for new growth.
